Why is the PAX Design Code important?

Because PAX wardrobes come in dozens of combinations. The code tells us: • How many frames • Frame heights & widths • Sliding or hinged doors • Drawers, rails & shelves • Complexity level This prevents incorrect quotes and ensures we bring the right tools.

Do you install sliding doors?

Yes — we are fully experienced with PAX sliding systems such as: • HASVIK • SVARTISDAL • MEHAMN • AULI • TANEM

Do you secure PAX wardrobes to the wall?

Yes — all PAX units must be wall-secured for safety. We handle all wall types: • Plasterboard • Masonry • Stud walls • Brick If you’re unsure about your wall type, we’ll assess it on arrival.

Do I need to empty the room for PAX installation?

Ideally yes. PAX is large and requires space for safe assembly.

Can you cut PAX frames to fit into alcoves?

We can assess each case. Some trimming is possible, but IKEA does not recommend modifying structural panels. We’ll let you know if your design can be adapted safely. Please note, this will void your 10 year Ikea product warranty

1. If you designed your wardrobe at home using the IKEA PAX Planner: • Open your PAX design • Click Share or Design Details • Copy the 8-digit PAX Design Code shown on the screen 2. If your design was created in an IKEA store: IKEA will give you a printed plan showing the full layout of your wardrobe, including the internal fittings. This printout always includes your PAX Design Code, usually near the top or beside the item list. Sending us this code allows us to see your exact design and provide an accurate quote.
